David Olof Peter Pagmar (performing as Montt Mardié and Monty; born September 16, 1983) is a Swedish indie pop, soul, and classical singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and composer from Värmdö, Stockholm. Pagmar began a professional career in 2005 with the release of the debut single “Highschool Drama” and the album Drama through the label Hybris. Subsequent recordings as Montt Mardié included the EP Science (2006) and the double album Clocks/Pretender (2007). In 2009, Pagmar released the UK compilation Introducing... the Best Of and the Swedish album Skaizerkite. The single “Set Sail Tomorrow” reached the NME-radio A-list. Pagmar later performed as Monty, releasing the albums 2010 (2010) and 1000 år senare (2011). In 2015, Pagmar performed at the wedding of Prince Carl Philip. Under the birth name, Pagmar released the album Färgen som målade livet flagnar in 2019. Pagmar also collaborated with artists including Hello Saferide and Lorentz & M. Sakarias.
