Adamantra

Adamantra is a Finnish progressive metal band from Helsinki, formed in 2003 when bassist Jukka Hoffrén recorded some song ideas on a friend's computer. The band was officially established with the addition of vocalist Tuomas Nieminen, drummer Mikko Sepponen, and guitarist Panu Kiskola, all known to Hoffrén from previous bands. Guitarist Tommi Ahtila also joined the lineup. In April 2006, Adamantra released their first EP, For Ever, featuring guest musicians Risto Kupiainen and Tapio Kuosma. Keyboardist Janne Koivula joined in August of the same year. The band's debut album, Revival, was released in 2009. In May 2014, after a period of writing and recording, Adamantra released their second album, Act II: Silent Narratives.
