Mike Redway, born 1939 in the United Kingdom, is a pop singer who began his career as a vocalist with the Oscar Rabin Band. He entered the recording industry in the late 1950s, signing with Embassy Records in 1959 as a backing vocalist and recording his first single for Embassy in 1962. In 1993 he released the album Specifics 19 – Tiny Tots. During the early 1960s, Mike Redway recorded for the budget label Embassy Records under the pseudonym Redd Wayne, contributing to numerous cover versions that were sold exclusively through Woolworths stores. His work with Embassy included recordings with the Typhoons, Jaybirds, and Starlings between 1962 and 1965. Mike Redway also provided the vocal on the song "Have No Fear, James Bond is Here" for the 1967 film Casino Royale. He achieved No. 1 chart success in Germany with the single "Du Kannst Nicht Immer Siebszehn" which he co-wrote with Ralph Siegel. Mike Redway continued to perform and record into the 1980s and beyond, with releases such as "Morris Minor" (1981).
