Alexander Kowalski, born in 1978 in Greifswald, Germany, is a German musician known for his work as a DJ and producer of electronic music. In the early 1990s, he moved to Berlin where he was first exposed to techno music. Early influences on his work included Joey Beltram and Synewave. Alexander Kowalski's debut release came in 1999 with a track on Proton Records. Alexander Kowalski's debut album Echoes was released in 2001 under the Kanzleramt label, followed by Progress in early 2002 and Response, which included the single "Belo Horizonte", in late 2003. He was nominated twice for the German dance award that year. In 2018, Alexander Kowalski released his album Cycles.
