Los Diablitos, emblematic group of the vallenato genre, created by Omar Geles in 1985, with the musical production “De verdad verdad”. It has managed to consolidate itself as one of the most representative of the romantic vallenato with countless hits that remain in the collective memory and even today continue to sound in the celebrations of young people.
Songs like: Tú, Tú vas a volar, No voy a llorar, Te esperaré, Ya tengo quien me quiera, Busca un confidente, Novios cruzados and the most influential song of vallenato Los caminos de la vida, resounding hits in the voices of Miguel Morales, Jesús Manuel (qepd) and Alex Manga with the production and accordion of maestro Omar Geles, marked the history of Los Diablitos and today are still in force with the voices of the new talents: German Jaimes and Juan Sebastian, accompanied by accordionist Guillermo Ortiz, recognized winner of several vallenato festivals in the region.
Throughout its history, the group has received well-deserved recognition for the millions of sales of its productions, which have been endorsed with Double Platinum, Gold, Orchids and Latin Grammy nominations. The song ‘Los caminos de la vida’, written by Omar Geles, is the group's masterpiece, having been recorded in more than 20 versions around the world.
Los Diablitos have record attendance at their concerts such as Expo Guadalupe in Monterrey (Mexico) and the best vallenato concert at the Poliedro de Caracas (Venezuela), with more than 50 thousand spectators on each stage that vibrated with their songs.
In the year 2024 Los Diablitos made a successful tribute tour to its founder, taking their music to more than 20 countries including the United States, Mexico, Ecuador, Bolivia, Venezuela, Panama, and many European countries among others.
They are currently preparing to celebrate their 40 years of history with a concert on September 27th, in one of the main stages of Colombia: The Movistar Arena, an event that will feature guest artists such as Alex Manga, El Binomio de Oro and many more. As part of their anniversary celebration, Los Diablitos will release a new version of their anthem “Los Caminos de la vida”, with the historical collaboration of Silvestre Dangond, Jorge Celedón and Daniel Calderón.
