Born in 1972 in Guadeloupe, Willy Ververt is a leading figure in West Indian zouk. Founder of the group Fuzion in 1991, he enjoyed great success throughout the decade with his accomplices Tony Deloumeaux and Richard Birman, before joining other groups such as Audass', Nadjea and Grav, in a duet with Jim Rama in 1999. In 1997, he launched his solo career with the album Théorie d'Amour, followed by Toute Une Vie (1998), Âme Soeur (2000), Bougé (2004), Haut Débit (2007), P'ti Sucre (2008) and Ornoir (2013). Back in 2020, he signed several singles and scored another hit in 2026 with "Di mwen sa", which reached number 51 in the Outre-Mer Songs chart.
