Lela Tsurtsumia, born ლელა წურწუმია on February 12, 1969 in Tbilisi , Georgian SSR , Soviet Union, is a singer and actress. She began her musical career as a soloist with the Philharmonic Orchestra of Georgia in 1988. Tsurtsumia released her debut album Paemani in May 2000, following the success of her first singles "Minda gimghero isev," "Paemani," and "Rad mindodam." She signed with ART-Imedi in 2002 and embarked on her first international tour, visiting Germany, Greece, and Israel. Tsurtsumia has also appeared in several films, including Erti bedis anotacia (1991) and Khapangi (1992).
