Boaz Sharabi, born on May 28, 1947 in Tel Aviv, Israel, is an Israeli singer-songwriter and composer. His music blended acoustic rock, Andalusian chords, soul, and oud-type songs with Israeli folk, Judeo-Yemenite, and pop overtones. He began his music career with the release of his debut album בעז in 1971. He notably collaborated with lyricist Ehud Manor and composer Matti Caspi, and sang a duet with Shoshana Damari in the 1980s. Sharabi's music gained popularity in Lebanon and Turkey, and he sold over two million records with more than 30 Number One hits. His song "Im at Adayin Ohevet Oti" was named Song of the Year for 2007 by the Israeli Public via Galgalatz and Yediot Achronot.
