INTERSECTION was a Japanese boy band formed in 2015 by Avex, consisting of Mika Hashizume, William Aoyama, Kazuma Mitchell, and Caelan Moriarty. The group's concept aimed to appeal to the international music market with members of mixed ancestry. INTERSECTION released their digital debut single "Heart of Gold" in October 2018. They gained significant attention with the release of "One Step Closer," which served as the ending theme song for the 2019 anime adaptation of Fruits Basket. Their first album, INTERSECTION, was released digitally on August 21, 2019. In January 2020, they contributed the ending theme song "New Page" for the third season of Black Clover. INTERSECTION disbanded on March 31, 2022.
