Erik Weiss, known professionally as LionDub, is an American DJ specializing in jungle, drum and bass, reggae, and dubstep. He began his music career in 1991 playing reggae and dub music in New York City before being introduced to jungle music in 1995. LionDub's style developed after a trip to London in 1998, where he started incorporating jungle into his sets. He released his debut album Trod Forward in 2004 and eventually founded the record label Liondub International in 2008. He has released notable singles such as "Run Red Remixes" (2009) and "Heartbroken" (2009). LionDub won the We Love Jungle Award for "Best Jungle Radio Show" in 2015, and was nominated again two years in a row.
