Demon Boyz were an English hip hop group formed in London by Demon D, Mike J, and DJ Devastate. They began rapping in their early teens and won a competition on a Dave Pearce rap show, leading to a live performance at Camden Palace. The group then appeared on the 1987 compilation Hard as Hell! Rap's Next Generation with the song "This Is a Jam". Their debut album, Recognition, was released in 1989 under Music of Life and featured singles such as "Vibes" and "Northside". The group later moved to Mango Records and released "International Karate" in 1990. Demon Boyz then joined Tribal Bass, releasing the single "Glimity Glamity", which remained Number 1 on the hip hop charts for over four weeks. Their second album, Original Guidance: The Second Chapter (Tribal Bass, 1992), followed shortly before the group disbanded.
