In 2025, saxophonist Benjamin Petit releases Requiem for a Nomad King on The Vault, a cinematic and emotionally driven jazz project that signals a defining moment in his artistic evolution. Blending modern composition with a strong narrative arc, the record positions Petit as a storyteller as much as a virtuoso. Previously, he explored orchestral depth and reinterpretation with Dear John (2022), a bold reimagining of John Williams’ iconic repertoire that further refined his compositional voice. Having collaborated with artists including Michel Jonasz, Lionel Richie, André Manoukian, Michael Bublé, and Didier Lockwood, Benjamin Petit delivers a precise yet expansive jazz language elegant, intentional, and deeply expressive.
