STORYTELLERS

Storytellers are a Norwegian experimental jazz band from Trondheim, formed in 1992. The ensemble explores the relationship between music and lyrics. The group consists of lyricist and composer Eivind Aakhus, guitarist Nils-Olav Johansen, double bassist and composer Svein Folkvord, and drummer and composer Sverre Gjørvad. Their debut studio album, Enjoy Storytellers!, was released in August 1994 via the Curling Legs label. The band is recognized for its experimental approach to jazz.
