Diana Caroline Garnett, born August 25, 1988, in Washington D.C., is a Japan-based American singer, bilingual voice actress, and talent. Influenced by anime and music from a young age, she moved to Japan and initially worked as a teacher while uploading song covers online under the alias Tonkhai. Her big break came in 2013 when she won Nodojiman THE World, a televised singing competition, which led to her major debut with Sony Music Records. On October 23, 2013, she released her debut single, a cover of "Mata Kimi ni Koishiteru", followed by her first album, COVER☆GIRL. Since then, Garnett has become a prolific artist in the Japanese entertainment industry, performing anime and game theme songs, contributing voice work in English and Japanese, and appearing in a variety of media. Her original singles include "Spinning World"(2016) for Naruto Shippuden and "Thank you for the Music"(2018) for Neko Neko Nihonshi. She has also provided music and voice work for visual novels, radio shows, and games, while serving as a recurring voice on NHK programs. In 2023, she rebranded her virtual presence under the name “Lumin” and began releasing digital singles and anime theme songs through her self-produced VTuber persona.
