Fotini Velesiotou, born Φωτεινή Βελεσιώτου on October 4, 1958, in Karditsa, Greece, is a Greek singer known for her repertoire of Rembetiko music. She discovered Rembetiko songs at 18 while studying to become a teacher in Thessaloniki. After graduating, she worked as an elementary school teacher and had two children, singing only for her students and friends during this period. Her professional music career began after retirement when she performed on a small live stage in Thessaloniki and released her first album Γυναίκες (Women) in 2004. In 2011, Velesiotou moved to Athens and performed regularly, collaborating with notable musicians such as Giorgos Dalaras and Eleonora Zouganeli. Notable albums include Τα Διαλεγμένα (Ta Dialegmena - The Selected) (2016).
