Skyedance, a Celtic fusion group, was founded in 1996 by fiddler Alasdair Fraser. The band's debut album, Way Out to Hope Street, was released in 1997 and was followed by Labyrinth in 1999 and Live in Spain in 2002. Their lineup included Mick Linden on fretless bass, Peter Maund on percussion, Eric Rigler on Scottish bagpipes and uilleann pipes, Paul Machlis on piano and keyboard, and Chris Norman on wooden flute and piccolo.
