Sons of Rico, an Australian indie pop rock band from Perth, Western Australia, was formed in 2004 by Alex MacRae and Adam Weston. Initially known as Bus#56, the duo expanded to a four-piece with Glenn Sarangapany and James Trewenack, later adding keyboardist Brett Murray. Their debut release, Orange Skies, an EP released in 2007, was initially available only at live performances. In 2010, Sons of Rico released their first studio album, Reactions. During this time, they achieved the WAM Song of the Year award. The band's second album, In Rico Glaciers, followed in 2013, recorded with ARIA award-winning producer Magoo.
