El rapero británico SwitchOTR nació el 19 de agosto de 2002 en el sur de Londres con el nombre real de Denzel Effa-Sasu. En 2017, el artista lanzó su propio canal de música y más tarde subió su música a Internet. El hip hopper cuenta con más de 3 millones de seguidores en los distintos canales y sus canciones han recibido más de 30 millones de clics solo en una plataforma de vídeos. Su single debut " Beater" fue lanzado a finales de 2019, seguido poco después por el single "Otr Freestyle" en marzo de 2020. A este le siguió el tema "Step Correct " en abril y "Wizards " en verano del mismo año. En colaboración con MizzMuni y Mars, SwitchOTR lanzó la canción " 4SF (Freestyle) " a finales de 2020. La canción " Enroute " en agosto da a conocer al rapero a un público más amplio y es escuchada más de 400.000 veces. El single " Coming for You " sale en octubre de 2021 y es una colaboración con el dúo de hip-hop A1 & J1. Se trata del gran avance musical de SwitchOTR. La canción recibe más de 19 millones de clics. A finales de 2021 llega el remix del tema con Bandokay, Izzpot y Loski. En marzo de 2022, se lanza el éxito "Reggae & Calypso " con los artistas Russ Millions, Yv, Buni, Gazo, CH (GMD) y RoseReal. La canción prolonga su éxito anterior y es escuchada más de 5 millones de veces en poco tiempo.
