Dolls of Pain es una banda francesa de electro oscuro que se formó en 2003. El grupo fue fundado por el compositor Olivier y el teclista Cédric, a los que se unieron varios meses después el vocalista Laurent y el guitarrista Stéphane. En 2005 publicaron su primer álbum en el sello suizo Urgence Disk Records. Realizaron giras por toda Europa, actuando en países como Francia, Alemania, Inglaterra y los Países Bajos. Su discografía incluye los álbumes Emprise (2003), Dominer (2004), Dec[a]dance (2006), Slavehunter (2007), Cybersex (2009) y el EP Strange Kiss (2010). Actuaron en varios festivales importantes, como el Gothic Family Festival y el Wave Gotik Treffen en 2009. Dolls of Pain anunciaron su disolución en 2017 en su página web y redes sociales, publicando dos remezclas de Heartlay y Dark Line Spectrum como despedida final.
