El cantante de pop y R&B Brook Benton es más conocido para los amantes de la música moderna por su interpretación de la canción de Tony Joe White "Rainy Night in Georgia", que alcanzó el número uno en las listas de R&B de EE.UU. en 1971 y también fue un éxito en las listas generalistas.
