Gilles Luka y Phillippe Laurent forman el dúo Galleon, originario de Marsella (Bouches-du-Rhône). Oscilando entre el house francés y el electro pop, su estilo caló hondo en Francia y el Reino Unido con el single "So, I Begin" en 2001/2002. El álbum So I Begin le siguió en julio de 2002, pero no fue tan bien recibido como el single.
