El rapero y músico de reggae alemán Greeen nació como Pasquale Valentin Denefleh el 27 de abril de 1989 en Mannheim. El artista comenzó su carrera como parte del dúo die Zwei. en 2013 y 2014 participó en varias batallas de rap, también bajo su segundo seudónimo Grinch Hill. El primer EP fue lanzado en 2013 con el título Alles grün. A este le siguieron otros EP como Hippie 2.0 (2014) y Ach du Grüne Neune (2018). Su primer álbum, Vergessenes Königreich, se publicó en 2016 y alcanzó el número 33 en las listas alemanas y el número 63 en Austria. Ese mismo año, llegó a las semifinales del concurso musical online Juliens Music Cypher. Durante este tiempo, creó varios trabajos en colaboración con Gary Washington, como el single "Wolkenkratzer" (2017). Su segundo álbum Smaragd se publicó en 2019, así como una versión más reciente del álbum llamada Smaragd Plus con los temas "Keine Zeit" y "Bruchteil". El álbum Highland siguió al año siguiente con el single "Ab & An". Highland consigue entrar en el top 5 de las listas de éxitos de Austria y Alemania. Junto con los músicos Hägi y Patwah, Greeen publica el álbum Hybrid en verano de 2021. El álbum Das verlorene Album se publica a finales del mismo año. En junio de 2024, el single "Panama " alcanza el número 25 en Alemania. Al mismo tiempo, el EP Glückskind de 2023 entra en las listas alemanas en el número 41.
