Ruben Plaza is a Spanish pianist and composer specializing in neoclassical and New Age piano music. His music explores the beauty of silence and calm through intimate pieces for solo piano.
“Where Silence is Born” is his third album, a work conceived during the early morning hours, before the noise of the world has begun. Recorded in a home studio, each piece explores the relationship between silence and sound. The album consists of nine tracks that flow like a sonic diary of moments of stillness.
Influenced by composers such as Ludovico Einaudi, Joe Hisaishi, and Schumann, Ruben Plaza seeks to create spaces where the listener can pause, breathe, and connect with themselves.
He is currently preparing the release of his third album, a collection of new and original pieces, which will be available on all digital platforms on May 14, 2026.
