Dee D. Jackson (nombre real: Deirdre Elaine Cozier) nació el 15 de julio de 1954 en Oxford, Gran Bretaña. Es cantante y compositora de música disco y pop electrónico. A principios de la década de 1970, Dee D. Jackson comenzó su carrera musical como corista. Al principio trabajó en Italia y Alemania. En 1978 lanzó su carrera internacional en solitario. En este año, lanza el sencillo"Automatic Lover". La canción se convierte en su mayor éxito y alcanza altas posiciones en las listas de éxitos de varios países europeos, incluidos los 10 primeros puestos en Alemania y otros mercados. Su álbum de debut Cosmic Curves se publica en 1978. El trabajo combina música disco con paisajes sonoros futuristas y tiene una influencia duradera en su estilo. Otros singles son"Meteor Man" y"Galaxy Police". En 1980 le siguió el álbum Thunder & Lightning. Contiene canciones como"S.O.S. (Love to the Rescue)". En los años siguientes, Dee D.
