Danny Michel, nacido el 31 de enero de 1970 en Ontario, Canadá, es cantautor y productor. En 2003, Danny Michel publicó Tales from the Invisible Man. Ese mismo año fue nominado a Artista Revelación del Año en los premios Juno de Canadá. Su álbum Black Birds are Dancing Over Me (2013), grabado con el Garifuna Collective en Belice, fue nominado a un premio Juno en la categoría de músicas del mundo y finalista del Polaris Music Prize. Danny Michel también creó la Danny Michel Ocean Academy Fund, con la que recaudó más de 125.000 USD para la Caye Caulker Community School.
