Rico Pleasant, conocido como Reek da Villian, nació el 5 de diciembre de 1989 en Roosevelt, Long Island, Nueva York. Empezó a rapear a los siete años y a grabar música a los 15. En 2006 conoció a Busta Rhymes, lo que marcó el inicio de su carrera profesional. Reek da Villian obtuvo su reconocimiento inicial con su aparición en la remezcla oficial de "Don't Touch Me (Throw da Water on 'Em)" de Busta Rhymes. Abandonó Flipmode Squad en febrero de 2009 y publicó su álbum de debut The Gift en 2010. A finales de 2010, colaboró con Busta Rhymes y Swizz Beats para la canción "Mechanics". Reek da Villian firmó con Conglomerate Records en 2011 y lanzó varias mixtapes bajo ese sello antes de separarse.
