LaGaylia Frazier nació el 16 de febrero de 1961 en Miami, Florida. Es una cantante sueco-estadounidense conocida por su trabajo en el soul y el jazz. Empezó a cantar a los 15 años y obtuvo una beca para estudiar en la Universidad de Miami. Al principio de su carrera, Frazier actuó con grupos de los 40 Principales y se unió a Bandera, un grupo de baile pop-latino, en 1989. Tras mudarse a Suecia en 2001, participó en varias giras de Rhapsody in Rock y presentó dos candidaturas al Festival de Eurovisión en 2004 y 2005 con "It's in the Stars" y "Nothing at All". Frazier publicó su álbum de debut Uncovered en 2007. Ha actuado en eventos notables como el Festival de Jazz de Estocolmo y recibió el premio Anita O'Day en 2010.
