Nacido en Tegucigalpa (Honduras), Philippe Hallais fue adoptado por una familia francesa a los cuatro años. Pasó su infancia en Bretaña, entre Rennes (Ille-et-Vilaine) y Nantes (Loire-Atlantique). Como Low Jack, desarrolló una pasión por el electro inspirada en el techno original de Chicago (Illinois). Aunque le atrae la experimentación, sigue diseñando sets bailables cuando actúa en el Rex Club o en La Gaité Lyrique. Low Jack, sin embargo, prefiere crear una atmósfera musical para el museo Quai Branly o para su EP Garifuna Variations (2014), donde inventa una fantasmagórica música maya. Reconocido en el underground europeo y en lugares tan lejanos como Estados Unidos, Low Jack publicó su álbum de debut Sewing Machine en mayo de 2015.
