Sunbeam, grupo alemán de música electrónica, fue fundado en 1992 por Florian Preis y Michael Gerlach. El dúo, que se conocía desde la infancia, comenzó su andadura musical con producciones de dance progresivo y trance. Su primer lanzamiento notable fue el E.P. Of High Adventure EP en 1994, seguido de "Outside World", que incluía muestras vocales de la película Akira. Este tema ganó gran popularidad gracias a su "Seismic Remix " en 1999. Sunbeam saltó a la fama con su sencillo "Dreams", publicado en junio de 1997, que entró en la lista Top 100 de Media Control. El grupo colaboró con varios artistas, entre ellos Rick J. Jordan y Michael Simon de Scooter, en lanzamientos posteriores como "Wake Up!" (febrero de 2000) y "One Minute In Heaven" (2001). Su álbum de debut Lightyears, publicado en 2001, incluía estos singles junto con otros temas notables como "Do It". Sunbeam también contribuyó con remezclas al proyecto Trance Allstars de 1999 a 2002. Tras un paréntesis a partir de 2004, el grupo regresó para una segunda etapa con los Trance Allstars durante su reunión en 2024.
