Worm es un proyecto de black/death/doom metal de Florida, formado en 2012 por el vocalista y multiinstrumentista Phantom Slaughter. La banda es conocida por su fusión de death metal cavernoso, doom fúnebre y black metal escalofriante, creando un sonido oculto y sobrenatural. Worm debutó con los álbumes autoeditados The Deep Dark Earth Underlies All (2014) y Nights in Hell (2016), antes de expandirse con la incorporación de Equimanthorn en teclados y batería para el álbum de 2017 Evocation of the Black Marsh, publicado a través de Iron Bonhead Productions. Tras el lanzamiento de Gloomlord en 2020 y la marcha de Equimanthorn, los guitarristas Nihilistic Manifesto y Wroth Septentrion (Philippe Tougas) se unieron a Worm, que publicó los álbumes Foreverglade (2021), Starpath with Dream Unending (2023) y Necropalace (2026).
