La Eureka Brass Band, activa de 1920 a 1975 y fundada por el trompetista Willie Wilson en Nueva Orleans, fue una destacada banda de metales conocida por sus numerosas grabaciones. La composición del grupo variaba, pero normalmente incluía de 9 a 11 músicos con una instrumentación estándar de tres trompetas, dos trombones, dos cañas, tuba, caja y bombo. Entre sus álbumes destacan Jazz at Preservation Hall I (1963) e In Rehearsal 1956 (2000). Tras la marcha de Wilson por enfermedad a finales de los años 30, el liderazgo pasó por varias manos, entre ellas Percy Humphrey, que dirigió la banda hasta su disolución en 1975.
