Celvin Rotane, nacido Mike van der Viven en Alemania, es un disc jockey y productor alemán conocido por sus contribuciones a la música electrónica y house. Saltó a la fama en el verano de 1995 con el lanzamiento de "I Believe", un sencillo producido en colaboración con Ramon Zenker. El tema, con su característico sample de "¡Uuh!", se convirtió en un importante éxito de club y se colocó en las listas de éxitos de varios países. Tras este éxito, lanzó "Push Me To The Limit" con la cantante estadounidense Francine "Frankie" McCoy, que consolidó aún más su presencia en la escena musical. A pesar de la falta de éxito en las listas de su siguiente sencillo, "You've Got To Be You", regresó en 1997 con el lanzamiento de la doble cara A"Back Again / Theme From Magnum". Este último tema era una reinterpretación de la música principal de la serie de televisión Magnum, mientras que "Back Again" mostraba influencias del popular género pizzicato trance. A lo largo de su carrera, Celvin Rotane ha actuado internacionalmente como DJ y ha publicado varios singles notables, como "Bienvenue", "Houze Muzique" y "B2W - Backs II The Wall" en colaboración con Dweed.
