Alternative Control is a psytrance full-on project that was formed in 2004 by Goran Toprek (1/2 MODERN8) and Rastko Palikuca, both from Belgrade, Serbia. Together, they released two albums, "Alt + Ctrl" in 2006, released by the renowned Brazilian record label Proton Brazil, and "Alternating Current" in 2011, released by the great Belgium label Dacru Records.
As a duo, they have played on every continent in the world, traveling from Brazil to Japan or Mexico to Russia, headlining almost every major psytrance festivals such as Full Moon, Ozora, The Gathering, Aurora, India Spirit, Freedom Festival, to name a few... collaborating with artists like Protoculture, Bizzare Contact, Shanti Matkin, Deedrah, Bamboo Forest, Eskimo, Mad Maxx, Sub6, Electro Sun, System Nipel, Solar Kid and Freaked Frequency, releasing over 40 singles and creating an unerasable trace in the psychedelic trance scene.
After a big hiatus, Alternative Control is back on business with new music inspired by today trends and influences from other genres.
