Søren Schou, conocido profesionalmente como Pharfar, es un músico y productor especializado en música reggae y dancehall. Comenzó su carrera como batería, DJ, productor y cantante autodidacta muy arraigado en la comunidad reggae de Copenhague. Los primeros singles de Pharfar , "La' ig rulle dig" y "Mand", se publicaron en 2013, marcando su debut en la industria musical. Pharfar también incursionó en la actuación, debutando en la serie de comedia Chapper og Pharfar en el canal de televisión danés DR1 en 2009. En 2015, participó en una remezcla de "Traffic Lights" de la cantante alemana Lena Meyer-Landrut.
