Jon Nørgaard nació el 28 de octubre de 1985 en Copenhague. Es un cantante danés de pop y R&B que se dio a conocer como ganador de una de las primeras generaciones de programas de casting en Escandinavia. Jon Nørgaard comenzó su carrera musical profesional en 2003 tras ganar Popstars en Dinamarca. No forma un proyecto de banda clásico. Trabaja en solitario y se mueve estilísticamente entre el pop, el soul y el R&B contemporáneo. Sus apariciones en festivales internacionales o sus papeles institucionales no están muy documentados. Su álbum de debut This Side Up se publica en 2003 y alcanza el número 1 en las listas de álbumes danesas. Los sencillos"Right Here Next to You" y"This Side Up" también alcanzan el número 1 en las listas danesas. En 2004 aparece el álbum Today Is a Good Day to Fall in Love, que alcanza el Top 5 en Dinamarca. El sencillo"Love Is a Game" se consolida como otro éxito radiofónico. Tras una pausa creativa, Jon Nørgaard publicó el álbum Jon en 2011, que volvió a alcanzar las listas de éxitos en Dinamarca. Le siguió Ved Siden Af en 2013, un álbum en danés que continuó su desarrollo estilístico. La canción Turn the Lights Off, lanzada junto a Kato en 2010, solo llegó a las listas alemanas 16 años después gracias a un vídeo en las redes sociales.
