Cut 'n' Move fue un grupo danés de dance/hip hop de Århus, formado en 1989 por el teclista Per Holm, el disc jockey Jørn K. (Jørn Kristensen) y el rapero MC Zipp (Jens Kjær Larsen). En diciembre de 1990, la cantante Thera Hoeymans se unió al grupo. Su single de debut "Take No Crap", con la voz de la cantante danesa Christine Christiansen, se publicó en 1990 y más tarde internacionalmente como "Get Serious". La canción se convirtió en un éxito moderado en el Billboard Hot 100 y en un Top 10 en la lista de éxitos dance. Su álbum de debut Get Ser ious fue publicado por Epic Records en julio de 1991. Para su segundo álbum Peace Love & Harmony, publicado en noviembre de 1993, la cantante danesa-estadounidense Zindy Laursen se unió al grupo. El single principal "Give it Up" alcanzó el número 1 en Australia y el 61 en la lista de singles del Reino Unido. En marzo de 1994, Hoeymans abandonó el grupo para dedicarse a la interpretación teatral. Cut 'n' Move publicó su tercer álbum The Sound Of Now en 1995. El single principal , "I'm Alive", se convirtió en un éxito menor a ambos lados del Atlántico. En 1996, Cut 'n' Move publicó Into The Zone '91-'96, un álbum de grandes éxitos que incluía tres canciones nuevas y que ganó el premio Danish Dance Album of the Year en los Grammy daneses.
