Sleep Walker, cuarteto de jazz originario de Tokio (Japón), se formó a finales de la década de 1990. El grupo se impuso inicialmente por su estilo de jazz dinámico y rítmico, popularizado en Europa por DJ como Gilles Peterson y Patrick Forge. Su álbum de debut, Sleepwalker, se publicó en 2003, seguido de The Voyage en 2006. El momento decisivo de Sleep Walker llegó con el lanzamiento de "The Voyage " en 2004, que contó con la colaboración de Pharoah Sanders. Los siguientes álbumes del grupo fueron United Legends Replayed By Sleep Walker (2007) e Into the Sun (2008). Su primer concierto en Francia tuvo lugar en Batofar el 21 de octubre de 2008, donde actuaron con Stéphane Belmondo. El cuarteto es conocido por su contribución al movimiento del "jazz de club" en Japón, junto a grupos como Kyoto Jazz Massive y Soil and "Pimp" Sessions.
