Unkle Bob, banda escocesa de indie rock formada en torno a la Universidad de Glasgow en 2003, estaba liderada por el cantante y compositor Rick Webster. Su álbum de debut, Sugar & Spite, salió a la venta en 2006 a través de Friendly Sounds/Mother City Records y fue aclamado por la crítica con reseñas de 4 estrellas en Q Magazine, Uncut, Mojo, The Times y The Sunday Times. Varias canciones del álbum aparecieron en varios programas de televisión y películas estadounidenses. Unkle Bob realizó numerosas giras con grupos como James y Goo Goo Dolls. Su segundo álbum, Shockwaves, se publicó en 2010. Tras una pausa, la banda se reunió brevemente para lanzar su tercer álbum Embers en 2014. En 2020, Unkle Bob anunció el regreso de sus miembros originales y lanzó el sencillo"Safety Net", con planes para nuevas grabaciones y materiales en 2021.
