Katharina Löwel, conocida como la rapera Kitty Kat, nació el 22 de enero de 1982 en Berlín Este. Alcanzó la fama musical como colaboradora habitual de artistas del sello Aggro Berlin, con el que firmó en 2006. En 2009, alcanzó el número 17 en las listas alemanas de singles con Scooter y Tony D y el single de Sido"Beweg dein Arsch". Ese mismo año publicó su primer álbum, Miyo, que alcanzó el número 29 en su país y el 51 en Austria. El sencillo"Braves Mädchen" alcanzó el número 58 en Alemania. Mientras que el segundo álbum Pink Mafia (2011) alcanzó el número 71 en las listas alemanas, la mixtape de 2012 Dirty Mixtape y los álbumes Kattitude (2014) y Love & HipHop (2018) no consiguieron entrar en las listas. A lo largo de los años, Löwel también escribió para el dúo de electro-pop Glasperlenspiel y fue capaz de entrar en las listas alemanas como compositora con los singles"Freundschaft" (2012),"Nie Vergessen" (2013) y"Royals & Kings" (2018).En 2021, su colaboración con Shirin David"Be a Hoe / Break a Hoe" se convirtió en un éxito y dio a Kitty Kat su primer single número 1 en Alemania. La canción alcanzó el número 7 en Austria y el número 16 en Suiza.
