Kang Seul-gi (10 de febrero de 1994), más conocida por su nombre artístico Seulgi, es una cantante y bailarina surcoreana que saltó a la fama como miembro del grupo de chicas Red Velvet. Nacida en la ciudad de Ansan, Gyeonggi-do, entró como aprendiz en SM Entertainment en 2007 y debutó oficialmente con Red Velvet en 2014. El grupo se convirtió rápidamente en uno de los grupos femeninos de K-pop más populares del mundo, alcanzando varias veces la cima de las listas coreanas y acumulando varios premios por el camino. También es miembro de la subunidad de Red Velvet, Red Velvet - Irene & Seulgi, cuyo EP debut Monster alcanzó el número 2 en la Circle Chart, y forma parte del supergrupo de K-pop Got the Beat. Tras participar en el éxito de BamBam "Who Are You" (2021) y en el EP Like Water (2021) de su compañera Wendy, Seulgi debutó en solitario en 2022 con el single "28 Reasons ", incluido en el EP del mismo nombre. En agosto de 2023, SM Entertainment confirmó la renovación de su contrato exclusivo con Seulgi. Más tarde ese mismo año, contribuyó con la canción"Polaroid" a la banda sonora de Unexpected Business Season 3. A principios de 2024, Seulgi lanzó otra BSO para el drama Doctor Slump titulada"In My Memory". También lanzó"You're My Joy and Luck" dedicada al panda Fu Bao y actuó con BamBam en Bangkok. En 2025, Seulgi y Kim Wan-sun lanzaron el single"Lucky", tras sus anteriores colaboraciones. El próximo EP de Seulgi, Accidentally on Purpose, salió a la venta en marzo, con el single principal"Baby, Not Baby".
