Maliq M. Aka Tha-GhostDawg (pronounced The-Ghostdog or as friends call him "Ghost") is an Artist, Producer and Mixing Engineer at Steel Banging Musick Worldwide/Ghosthouse Production. Maliq is a recording artist, producer and mix engineer. Growing up in poverty plus the health situation of his mother pushed Tha-GhostDawg more and more into a life of growing up on his own in the early 90's. He never had a father or a big family support. Maliq started to run the streets and hanging' out on the corner became his day-to-day life. In '99 he found his way into music. He started to put all his experience and emotions into poems and later on, "Tha-GhostDawg" linked up with some "Homies" to build up their own studio. He came a long way since then. The first International compilation Album "Worldwide Ridaz" was released in 2012 which also made Los Angeles CA his second home. Tha-GhostDawg released a few more singles and a mixtape later on and became part of Steel Banging Musick Worldwide in 2011 which was founded by in LA. In 2012, Maliq M. joined the "Do-Something Projekt" www.DoSomethingProjekt.com, a project to show youngsters in the "hood" that there's always a better way and solution to every problem. "Music is the key, they get a chance to write and record their own songs while we share our story's, I want to make sure that they avoid the mistakes that I did back then".
