Bio
King Colorz is a Dancehall/Hip Hop musician hailing from Zambia. Born in Lusaka in 1996, he has been passionate about music since childhood and began his professional career in 2015. He fell in love with music after his mum bought him 50 Cent’s “Get rich or die trying” album for his 10th birthday and that’s what led to him to start making music. Years later he discovered a recording studio near his residence so he saved up some money and that’s where he had his first studio recorded hip-hop single “Ride or Die” in 2013. King Colorz continued going to the studio after that, mainly for learning purposes because he couldn't pay for studio time and also because many popular artists in Zambia recorded at that studio. Then in 2015 he added Dancehall to his repertoire after he became infatuated with the genre, and went on to release tracks like “Safe”,” Can’t Stop Me” and “Come Around”. However, in late 2015 he got a scholarship and went to university in Russia which meant he had to pause his music career. He is currently back on the music scene and has plenty to offer.
