Deborah "Debbie" Cameron, born September 14, 1958 in Miami, Florida, is an American singer of Bahamian descent who has had a career in music in Denmark. Her musical journey began with the award Most Promising Student at the Music School at the University of Miami in 1976. In 1978, she moved to Copenhagen, where her mother Etta already lived. Cameron's breakthrough came in 1979 when she was a prominent backing singer for Tommy Seebach at the Eurovision Song Contest with "Disco Tango". She again represented Denmark in the Eurovision Song Contest 1981, duetting with Tommy Seebach on "Krøller eller ej", finishing 11th with 41 points. Her discography included albums such as Black & White - Day & Night (1992) and New York Date (1999).
