Moscow Death Brigade, a Russian music group from Moscow, was formed in 2007 under the name Hoods Up 495. The members, who came from the punk hardcore scene, initially released a demo titled Hoods Up. In 2014, they released their first EP, Hoods Up, which garnered attention in the European punk scene. The group's breakthrough came with their second EP, Here to Stay, released in 2015. They continued to gain recognition through collaborations and tours, including a split EP with What We Feel and performances with Feine Sahne Fischfilet. In 2018, Moscow Death Brigade released their debut album, Boltcutter. The group's subsequent albums, Bad Accent Anthems (2020) and Flares Are Burning (2021), further solidified their reputation in the hardcore and punk scenes.
