Gossos is a Catalan rock group from Manresa, Barcelona, formed by Oriol Farré, Juanjo Muñoz, Natxo Tarrés, and Roger Farré. Known in their early years for a fully acoustic sound using only guitars and bass, the band gained recognition after winning a contest that led to the recording of their self-titled debut album (1994). They continued with En Privat (1996) and Metamorfosi (1997), before releasing the live album Directament (1999). In 2002, they transitioned from acoustic to electric instrumentation with the addition of drummer Santi Serratosa, marking a new phase in their sound with El Jardí Del Temps (2003), followed by 8 (2005). Their 2007 album Oxigen included their song, “Corren,” featuring Dani Macaco. The band celebrated their 15th anniversary in 2008 with concerts in Barcelona and international shows in the Netherlands and Germany. They released Dia 1 (2010) and Zenit (2015), and after their 25th anniversary tour and live recordings, they announced an indefinite hiatus in 2018.
