Iran Pereira Da Costa, born December 28, 1965, in Porto Franco, Maranhão, Brazil, is a Brazilian singer. From a young age, Iran Pereira Da Costa showed an interest in the arts and began his career in radio at 18 years old, taking courses as an announcer. For over a decade, he distinguished himself as a communication professional in Brazil. His passion for music grew stronger, leading him to produce radio programs during a trip to Europe. In 1991, Iran Pereira Da Costa released his first single "Penso em Ti", which quickly gained airplay on Brazilian radios. The following year, he was invited to showcase his work in Portugal. In 1995, Iran Pereira Da Costa achieved significant success with the album O Bicho, earning six platinum discs in Portugal.
