Alexis Hernández Tapia (born July 9, 1999, in Morelia, Michoacán), known as Roode NZM, is a Mexican rapper and former athlete, who won a second-place Olympic medal in wrestling at the Juegos Nacionales Pentathlónicos of Chihuahua 2015. He designed the cover for the remix of the single "Fúmele" by Alemán, Japone Vargas, and Reychesta Secret Weapon.
He is straight edge, promoting abstinence from addictive substances.
He was born in Morelia, Michoacán on July 9, 1999. At the age of 16, he won the second-place medal in the 71-kilogram category in Olympic wrestling at the 2015 Juegos Nacionales Pentathlónicos in Chihuahua.
He was a first-class cadet at the Pentathlón Deportivo Militarizado Universitario (PDMU), a position he held from 2015 to 2016.
In 2016, he began designing covers for the musical group Sureños Dementes 13, where he also started his career as a rapper and created the logo for Estilos Urbanos Records.
In 2018, he met the rapper and producer Walter Vargas, who invited him to join the record label Energy Records. In 2020, changed his stage name adopting the initials NZM, belonging to the Zonámbulos Nozam collective, of which he was a part alongside Isaac Cabana and Moto NZM.
In 2021, he released his first album "Pirámides," produced by Walter Vargas, Oliver Vargas, and Young Wild. The album features 7 songs, including the singles "Valentín" and "Clavado."
In 2023, he released his second album "El Viejón," featuring producers like Wicho Beatz, Chino On The Beat, Roofa, and Agw Beats with "Mi Motivación."
On May 13th, he was invited to perform on the television program "Aquí Está La Noche" on Canal 13 Michoacán. That same year, he was interviewed for the entertainment section of Hechos Meridiano on TV Azteca Michoacán, and he embraced the straight edge lifestyle.
