Mabulu, a musical band from Mozambique, was formed in 2000. Their name translates to "looking for a dialogue" in the Shangana language, reflecting the group's multi-generational composition. The band's debut release was Karimbo (2002) under Riverboat Records. Lead singer Chonyl died in Maputo on September 15, 2007, at the age of 27.
