Bertrand Bitz, born on March 2, 1978 in Nax, Switzerland, is a Swiss singer. He began his musical journey with solfège and instrument courses at the local music society, followed by studies in organ and guitar. Bitz released Instants volés in 2003 as part of the group Hillside. In 2005, under his own name, he released the album Tout ça nous poursuit, collaborating with Ludovic Pannatier and Alexandra Bitz. The song "Lorsque nos yeux" from this album won fourth prize at the Soundcheck 2005 contest by MyCokeMusic.ch in Zurich. In 2007, he won second place at the prestigious Golden Song Medal competition with "En Thalasso". Bitz's first nationally distributed album, Multifaces, was released in 2008 and featured the reflective song "L'attente", which explored themes of love and loss.
