19 New Project is a French electro-pop band from Paris (France). It is composed of Ema.B (Curtain, BBPM, Kim Dies Laughing) and Gilles (Gilles Boyer, BBPM, ex bass player of Speaking Silence), both singers, multi-instrumentalists, authors and composers.
19 New Project has 4 original albums and several EPs since the release in 2003 of their first single "space to fill", record of the day on Radio Nova.
The duo has performed on stage on numerous occasions, notably at the Divan du Monde (opening for Covenant or IAMX) or in 2009 at the Cosmopolite festival, in the company of Arnaud Robotini among others.
Their composite music, mixing rich and varied influences (new wave, electro, pop), has been affiliated to a musical current called "electro-wave", at the crossroads of Daft Punk and The Cure.
